Fine art photography

I would rather an image raise a question than answer one.

I photograph moments slightly at odds with the expected: a coastline softened to mist, a dancer stilled mid-turn.
What I am really after are those moments of peace.

After three decades in architecture I returned to image-making at fifty, treating the camera as a blunt instrument: long exposure, intentional movement, light & shade, so that little emerges looking settled or obvious.
